Slush 2016 is approaching and we are thrilled and excited to announce that OrganicNet is the only Serbian startup to take part in the conference being the winner of the local Slush competition!
The local competition is organized by the Innovation Fund in Serbia in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland with a goal to support start-ups from Serbia that have a great potential to scale globally and build a successful business.
Out of 13 companies, three best projects are shortlisted for the second round of the competition in which the committee in Helsinki has been evaluating companies based on different criteria.
Besides attending Slush conference in November, the best startup has the opportunity to learn from the best mentors and experts within the Slush Global Impact Accelerator program. This amazing opportunity is given to OrganicNet and our representatives will spend 10 days in Helsinki from November 22–December 2, 2016.
We believe that the power of global communities is huge and that understanding different cultures enables change. As such founders taking part in the Global Impact Accelerator Program does not only represent their company but also their country, highlighting the importance of curiosity and drive to explore and connect with other entrepreneurs.
This opportunity is an important step for us, and a confirmation that we have a high-quality product that can contribute to the development of the startup ecosystem not only in Serbia but in the world. This year, the competition was organized for start-ups that are focused on solving the most challenging global problems.
The change might come slowly, but the results will be significant. Without taking action very little will be done but we are living in a world of infinite possibilities and all we have to do is become aware and understand how much of an influence we have to truly make an impact. We believe that OrganicNet can bring about positive change, said Stanislava Stojanović Novoselac, OrganicNet director.
As one of the leading conferences dedicated to supporting start-ups, Slush 2016 is the perfect occasion to introduce our idea to the European audiences and to get in touch with investors and companies that can become our partners and join us in our journey.
