Tomorrow sees the start of the second Symfony Live conference in San Francisco following on from the success of the 2011 inaugural event. This year’s edition is particularly exciting following the announcement of forthcoming closer inter-compatibility between Symfony frameworks with Drupal earlier this year.
The 3-day event will feature numerous valuable presentations, including a keynote address from Symfony creator Fabien Potencier, a look ahead to next Spring’s Drupal 8 release (which will officially incorporate Symfony components for the first time), and workshops on specific tools and techniques from form tricks and Symfony Composer to Bundle configurations and the Solr search engine.
As enthusiastic and experienced users of both Symfony and Drupal, we’re delighted to announce that EtonDigital is one of the Silver sponsors of Symfony Live 2012. After the success of the Symfony Live sister-event in London earlier this month, the larger San Francisco edition should prove to be a fantastic opportunity to meet other Symfony professionals committed to the growth and success of open source communities – we look forward to seeing some of you there!
The event runs from September 26th-29th and will take place at the ‘Microsoft Offices’ in downtown San Francisco.
