Everybody loves a good tech conference, but choosing which conferences to devote your time to can be challenging.
We’ve been looking at conferences that could be interesting to attend in 2016 and compiled a great list of events in the UK if you are looking to get to speed up with the latest development in the IT world.
We also included the short list of conferences that haven’t got a date or the program yet but are great options to consider attending, so we’ll keep the list updated.
NDC London
11th – 15th January 2016, London
NDC Conferences started in Oslo in 2008 as the Norwegian Developers Conference dedicated to .NET and Agile open space development.
This is a third NDC conference in London, which includes high quality workshops and seminars, but it’s more than a tech conference – it’s a festival for developers.
Today it’s a five-day event with three days of conference sessions and two days of pre-conference workshops, focusing on all technologies of interest to developers.
There are many interesting workshops on .NET, DevOps, IoT, Agile, Methodology, Architecture, Cloud, Function Programming for developers and great keynote speakers, so make sure to check it out.
Mac Admin & Developer Conference UK
9th – 10th February 2016, London
The UK’s first conference for Apple IT Professionals gathers some of the world’s leading guest speakers in their field for two days of an immersive learning and networking experience.
Packed with presentations, workshops and demos, it is a premium event for Apple IT professionals in the education and enterprise sector, consultants, techs and business leaders.
The conference program is still being finalized, but, as the conference is before the release of new hardware, we can expect sessions on the management of iOS, OS X and the talks, workshops and discussions on the latest software release.
If you are relying on Apple devices, this is a conference you should attend as you will learn new trends and tools and best practice and processes.
IoT Tech Expo
10th – 11th February 2016, London
Europe’s largest Internet of Things Conference and Exhibition is a two day event that brings together prominent keynote speakers from different industries (Manufacturing, Transport, Health, Logistics, Government, Energy and Automotive) to explore the latest innovations in the IoT arena.
The conference will cover topics related to Smart Cities, Connected Living, Wearables, Connected Health, Connected Industry as well as Data & Security. Developing for the Internet of Things are especially interesting sessions.

PHP UK
18th – 19th February 2016, London
The 11th Annual PHP UK conference will probably be as amazing, pragmatic and progressive as this year’s event. The conference started in 2006 and since then have been delivering great insights, amazing training and up-to-date content on everything PHP as well as related web technologies, inspiring creative discussion in the PHP community.

QCon London

QCon is a conference for professional software developers to facilitate the spread of innovation in enterprise software development.
Technical team leads, architects, engineering directors, and project managers will share and talk on the most important development topics, focusing on case studies, which will be delivered by some of the thought leaders from the biggest software development companies.

SmashingConf Oxford 2016
